A FIRST CLASS FARM HOUSE, SURROUNDED BY 7 HECTARES OF LAND

WORKSHOPS ON YOGA, SINGING BOWLS, and other activities are possible which will help the guest find peace and serenity in spirit.

Outdoor areas equipped as KITCHENS will be available where guests can prepare grilled meat, fish, vegetables or other dishes. A few km from our Holiday Farm there is a farm for the breeding of cattle and pigs in the wild with its own slaughterhouse, called SCAPPAZZONI.

Breakfast is served at the tables in the Farmhouse Hall. The guest can enjoy an Italian-style breakfast or, on request, a European one.

During the summer months, if possible, a stay of at least 7 nights (from Saturday to Saturday) is requested.

The GIARA offers the opportunity to use the pool area to relax, cool off while sipping a cold drink. The swimming pool is for the exclusive use of the Holiday Farm; its water is seawater. The guest can lie by the pool on a comfortable sun-bed in the shade of a beach umbrella.

The favorable position of the holiday farm is convenient as it allows guests to reach the East Riviera with its beautiful towns (Tellaro, Fiascherino, Lerici, San Terenzo, La Spezia, Portovenere) and the magnificent “Cinque Terre” area with the hamlets clinging to the sheer cliffs above the sea (Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso).

Furthermore, for the tourist who loves mountain biking, this place, and the entire district of the “Lower and Upper Val di Vara”, is full of comfortable and peaceful itineraries along which you can discover ancient architecture, the landscape, and find the right balance between man and nature.

Beverino is a small valley with a beautiful 12-km route (UPS AND DOWNS) to be covered on foot, by mountain bike, or on horseback through woods, hamlets, rivers, and meadows.

It is situated just 12km from the city of La Spezia in one of the many green belts in the heart of the area called “Bassa Val di Vara”(this province of Levante Ligure is full of these oases which fortunately today are protected and safeguarded).
It is here that in 2001 Rita Pascotto and her family embarked upon an adventure (just to use a euphemism) and thus the restructuring of a secular country house, surrounded by 7 hectares of land, began.

Located in the hills in sunny Scortica in the middle of 7 hectares of land, the old building (whose stones, hand-sculptured portals and wooden beams have been preserved) has been reviewed, rectified, extended and modernised.
And so “La Giara” was born, an appealing accommodation capable of hosting anyone who wants to experience the emotion of a stay in a first class farm house.
