Tastings

At Agriturismo La Giara you can enjoy authentic local products, prepared with fresh ingredients from our farm and nearby producers. Simple yet flavorful dishes such as testaroli with pesto, cured meats and cheeses from Val di Vara, sgabei, Ligurian focaccia, and vegetable pies.. We also offer Local wines and craft beers complete the experience, offering a truly authentic taste that will make you feel at home.

Aperitifs

For a relaxing moment, we offer aperitifs with a selection of cocktails, craft beers, and local wines, accompanied by tasty bites, perfect to enjoy the surrounding landscape. If you prefer something more substantial, you can add a platter of local cured meats and cheeses, for an aperitif rooted in tradition and simplicity.

Vegetable Garden Experience

Agriturismo La Giara is also home to our “orto ospitale”, where you can enjoy a unique experience by picking tomatoes, salads, and other fresh vegetables directly from our garden. You can then taste them in the covered terrace kitchen, for a direct and authentic connection with nature. Here, every dish becomes even more special because it is prepared and enjoyed with your own hands.

Outdoor Activities

Agriturismo La Giara is the perfect starting point to explore the surrounding area through outdoor activities. From trails through woods and hills to scenic routes, you can set off directly from the agriturismo for hikes or bike rides, discovering the most authentic and hidden corners of the territory.

For those who want a more dynamic experience, guided e-bike tours can be arranged, ideal even for less experienced riders, as well as boat excursions to admire the coastline from a different perspective and enjoy the sea and landscapes of our region.

The Woodland Creatures Trail

In the woods surrounding the agriturismo, you will find the Woodland Creatures Trail, a walk immersed in nature where you can discover gnomes, elves, fairies, and other magical beings inspired by ancient woodland and mountain legends.

According to tradition, these small creatures represent the most magical and wild soul of nature and are considered guardians and an integral part of woods, mountains, countryside, and waters. Along the path, you will encounter small spots dedicated to them, turning the walk into acharming experience, especially for children, inviting you to explore the forest with curiosity and imagination.

Local Flavours

Just 1 km from the agriturismo, you will find a shop called I Sapori della Valle, where you can discover products from local farms in the Val di Vara area, including extra virgin olive oil, wine, jams, honey, testaroli, cheeses, cured meats, and more…
